Position :EHS trainee

Qualification:Any graduate/Diploma/ITI

Salary:As per co norms

Note:Candidate should have diploma in fire & safety

Roles & responsibilities

1. Monitoring the operation & maintenance of EHS system shift-wise.

2. Issuing Hazardous and Non-Hazardous work permits pertaining to IIVL site work &

operation.

3. Inspection of EHS activity in each shift including both the production plants covering the

overall site.

4. Conducting workplace survey study for all the IIVL plant as per the procedure.

5. Maintain healthy working condition of the Multi gas detector, oxygen meter, lux meter,

Noise dosimeter, Surface resistivity meter etc.

6. Inspection of Fire hydrant system & Fire extinguisher, Fire alarm system as per the ITC

EHS guidelines.

7. Inspection of PPE's, Safety Shower, and First aid boxes as per the planner

8. Ensuring the safety rules & procedures followed by all the employees.

9. Coordination for conducting mock drill covering in all shifts & EHS safety committee

meeting.

Follow up and completion of near miss/incident/Accident report CAPA's.

11. Coordination safety induction & fire training to recent employees.

12. Ensuring the availability of SDS for all the chemicals.

13. Monitoring operation & maintenance of ETP & STP plant on shift wise basis

14. Upkeep of documents pertaining to EHS and compliance to statutory norms...

15. Ensuring the hazardous waste disposal procedure followed in the facility as per the

KSPCB guidelines

16. Conducting monthly safety inspection as per the EHS planner procedure.

17. Inspection of emergency safety cupboard inspection

18. Monitoring of Spill control Kit in all the available areas.

19. Ensuring Non-hazardous waste & hazardous waste disposed as per the company procedure.

20. Conducting risk assessment, HAZOP and Aspect impact as per the requirement of site.

21. Handling the emergency situation in the plant or vicinity in coordination with the site

controller & incident controller for 24*7.

22. Ensuring the healthy working condition of all the emergency gadgets equipments.

23. Inspection of fire hydrant pump on daily basis wise & as per the planner.

24. Inspection of Sprinkler system as per the company guidelines.
