Indirect Sourcing

Key missions of the position:

- Purchase Right Product/Service at Right Price and Quality and bring in Savings to the organisation
- Bring in effective efficient Procurement processes and systems to meet customer requirement
- Establish strategic thinking in all procurement efforts resulting to be customer centric, streamlining business processes while maintaining compliance

Responsibilities

- Lead and drive Indirect sourcing activities for Faiveley Transport, India Cross functional connect with HR/Finance/Operations/Engineering.
- Strong negotiation skills/understanding of market cost/communication skills (written and oral)
- Understanding of Vendor base across all regions of India for HR activities/Facilities Management/Supply of consumables and MRO/Professional services/Logistics/Warehousing/Real estate/Civil Construction/Capex equipment
- Should have good knowledge in handling Capex procurement, logistics and warehousing.




- Strong understanding of Sourcing Human resources for Engineering, positive working experience with Professional services, Temporary labor companies.
- Understanding of ERP systems-preferably SAP/Oracle/M3/other. Should have sound knowledge on interpreting/conversion of PR to PO process.
- Sound understanding of Contracts management. Understanding of Terms Conditions, commercial clauses, legal clauses.
- Should have worked in similar organizations managing Indirect Sourcing activities. Understanding of Supplier Ethical code of conduct/integrity/compliance is paramount.
