Key highlights of the role are listed below (Indicative and not exhaustive):

A. Non-Litigation

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, including but not limited to MSA, cobranding agreement, NDA & other legal

documents pertaining to agreements/contracts.

- Provide end-to-end legal support for credit card product lifecycle including cardholder agreements, MITC.
- Interpret and implement regulatory requirements issued by Reserve Bank of India and other authorities impacting NBFC and credit card business.
- Review marketing campaigns, customer communications, and product disclosures to ensure legal compliance.
- Review outsourcing and vendor contracts ensuring adequate risk protection and regulatory compliance.
- Provide proactive legal advisory to other internal stakeholders & other business teams on product structuring, operational initiatives and legal documentations.
- Attending meetings with vendors, with business team for closing the agreements.

B. Litigation





- Manage litigation matters including consumer disputes, civil disputes, criminal matters, recovery cases, and regulatory proceedings.
- Coordinate with external advocates and internal stakeholders for case strategy, filings, and hearings.
- Handle interactions with law enforcement agencies, collection agencies including visits to police stations, and investigative authorities for fraud and complaint matters.
- Support dispute resolution, settlements, arbitration, and mediation efforts.
- Draft, review, and vet legal notices, replies to notices and other court-related documents.
