Position Details

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 8–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience and working knowledge of Business Object Processing Framework (BOP/BOPF). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, technical design, system integrations, and performance optimization while working closely with functional and business teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Development & Support

- Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
- Build scalable solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP principles and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.

SAP Integrations & Enhancements

- Develop and support BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, ALE, Proxy Services, and Web Services.
- Implement Enhancements through User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Design and develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Script solutions.

SAP S/4HANA & BOPF Development

- Develop CDS Views, AMDPs, and HANA-optimized solutions.
- Work with Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) concepts including:
- Business Objects
- Determinations




- Validations
- Actions
- Associations
- Service Manager

- Participate in S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.

Performance & Support

- Analyze and optimize program performance using SAP performance tuning techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within SLA timelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business users to understand requirements.
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance during project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP programming concepts and development lifecycle.
- Experience working in large-scale SAP implementation and support projects.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- SAP S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
