Position Details

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP HR Functional Consultant with 4–6 years of experience in SAP HCM/HR and ABAP development. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SAP HR business processes along with technical expertise in ABAP development, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and support activities.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver efficient SAP HCM solutions and support ongoing HR transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

SAP HR Functional Support

- Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP HCM/HR solutions based on business requirements.
- Work on core SAP HCM modules such as:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Organizational Management (OM)
- Time Management (TM)
- Payroll
- Advantages Administration

- Gather and analyze business requirements from HR stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications and process documentation.
- Support SAP HR change requests, enhancements, and production issues.

ABAP Development & Enhancements

- Develop and support SAP ABAP objects related to SAP HCM.
- Create and enhance reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Develop HR-specific reports and custom programs.
- Implement User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and Customer Exits.
- Work on Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and HR Form development.




- Support integration between SAP HR and third-party applications.

Interfaces & Integration

- Develop and maintain BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, and HR interfaces.
- Support inbound and outbound HR data integrations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR systems.

Testing & Support

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues related to SAP HCM.
- Monitor and resolve production support incidents within SLA timelines.
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and implementation projects.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with HR business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and solution walkthroughs.
- Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer when required.

- Experience with SAP Workflow.
- Understanding of HR Payroll interfaces and statutory processes.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- SAP HCM Certification will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 4–6 years of SAP HCM Functional and ABAP development experience.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and SAP HCM modules.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in support, enhancement, and implementation projects.
- Self-motivated team player with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
