Your role and responsibilities:

You will be working as Data Analyst II and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in India. In this role you will be part of one of the Agile Team as developer and will be reporting to Analytics Chapter Lead and will be responsible for leveraging data to provide actionable insights, enhance decision-making processes, and drive business growth in accordance with ABB guidelines. The Business Intelligence Specialist will collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and develop solutions that align with strategic objectives.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Develop and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Grafana etc.

- Collaborate with Agile Team stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.

- Design and optimize data models and databases to support BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings to stakeholders.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to ensure the integrity of BI solutions.

- Provide training and support to users on BI tools and solutions, ensuring effective utilization across the organization.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence.

- International travel on need basis.

Qualifications for the role :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration,



or related field with proven experience of 5 years working in a Business Intelligence/ Data Analyst role or similar capacity.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

- Proficiency in using BI tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Grafana etc. with a strong understanding of data visualization principles.

- Expertise in SQL and database management systems (DBMS) like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc. Experience in Snowflake is preferred.

- Exposure to Machine Learning and AI libraries (including Deep Learning, NLP) is preferred.

- Exposure with programming languages/ tools like Python, R,Alteryx etc. is preferred.

- Broad IT/SW/DS background and willingness to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies and application domains.

- Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence both internally and externally.
