- Supervise complete accounting operations (handled by Executive/Accounts team)
- Ensure accuracy of books, ledgers, and financial statements
- Finalize monthly and annual accounts
2. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management (Critical)
- Monitor daily cash flow position
- Optimize working capital (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
- Plan fund requirements and manage banking relationships
3. Costing & Profitability (Core for Manufacturing)
- Oversee product costing (soap, shampoo, toiletries, etc.)
- Analyze raw material consumption and wastage
- Monitor production cost vs standard cost
- Drive cost reduction initiatives
4. MIS, Budgeting & Business Insights
- Prepare and review monthly MIS reports:
- Sales vs collections
- Product-wise profitability
- Expense analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting
- Provide actionable insights to management
5. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- GST (returns, reconciliation, ITC optimization)
- TDS & Income Tax
- PF, ESI, and labour laws
- Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, and auditors
- Ensure zero penalties and notices

Inventory & Internal Controls
- Establish strong inventory control systems
- Ensure regular stock audits & reconciliation
- Implement SOPs to reduce pilferage and wastage
- Strengthen internal financial controls
7. Team Management
- Lead and mentor Accounts Executive(s)
- Define roles, review performance, and improve efficiency
- Ensure discipline and process adherence
8. Audit & Compliance Readiness
- Lead statutory, GST, and internal audits
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
- Resolve audit queries efficiently
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and compliance
- Expertise in manufacturing costing & inventory control
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP + Advanced Excel
- Robust analytical and decision-making ability
- Practical, hands-on, and process-driven approach
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualification: CA / CMA (preferred) or B.Com + strong experience
- Experience: 610 years (with manufacturing exposure)
- Prior experience in FMCG / cosmetics / small-to-mid manufacturing setup is highly preferred
