Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP BTP Developer to join our global B2B E-Commerce team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP NetWeaver Gateway, OData Services, SAP BTP, and SAP SD business processes.

The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend services that power enterprise B2B commerce solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, frontend teams, and integration partners to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that support critical sales and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & Architecture

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade SAP backend applications.
- Develop scalable and high-performance business services using Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Create robust and reusable technical solutions following SAP development standards.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and solution design activities.

API & Integration Development

- Develop and enhance OData Services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
- Design RESTful APIs and HTTP-based integration services.
- Build integrations between SAP and external applications using APIs and Web Services.
- Develop and support BAPIs, IDOCs, RFCs, and integration interfaces.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across enterprise platforms.

SAP SD & B2B Commerce Processes

- Support and enhance B2B sales processes within SAP SD.
- Develop solutions for:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Pricing & Conditions
- Sales Order Processing




- Customer Contracts
- Product Availability Checks
- Billing & Invoicing

- Collaborate with business teams to optimize digital commerce operations.

SAP BTP Development

- Work with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for cloud connectivity and integrations.
- Configure and support SAP Cloud Connector.
- Enable integration between on-premise SAP systems and cloud applications.
- Participate in SAP digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.

Quality, Performance & Support

- Conduct code reviews and enforce SAP development best practices.
- Develop automated unit tests using ABAP Unit.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Optimize application and database performance.
- Support production incidents and enhancement requests.

Agile Collaboration

- Work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
