Job Summary

- The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering welding table manufacturing projects within the agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
- The role involves coordinating with design, production, procurement, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Project Planning

- Prepare project schedules based on customer orders.
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and other resources.
- Develop project timelines and monitor progress.

Project Execution

- Coordinate with the Engineering team.
- Ensure procurement of raw materials and bought-out items.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, painting, and inspection activities.
- Track daily production against the project schedule.
- Resolve production bottlenecks.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with Sales, Design Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Logistics.
- Ensure smooth information flow among departments.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure products meet customer specifications.




- Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
- Coordinate inspections and final acceptance.

Budget & Cost Control

- Monitor project costs.
- Control material wastage.
- Track labor and manufacturing expenses.
- Report cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

Risk Management

- Identify project risks.
- Develop mitigation plans.
- Address delays related to materials, production, or customer changes.

Documentation

- Maintain project schedules, progress reports, material tracking, inspection records, and final project closure documents.

Delivery Management

- Coordinate packaging and dispatch.
- Ensure on-time delivery.
- Support installation or commissioning if applicable.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Project Management certification (preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in fabrication, welding, or heavy engineering industries.
- Experience managing manufacturing projects is preferred.
