Job description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide

technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems,

software, and hardware. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and

resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-

day operations. candidate with work experience of any Banking Sector would be

preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other

peripherals

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, and business

applications

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (onsite & remote)

• Handle IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution

• Configure and troubleshoot network issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)

• Install and maintain antivirus and ensure system security compliance





• Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance

• Support email configuration (Outlook, Office 365

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or any Degree with Computer

Course

• Proven experience in desktop/Printer/ Scanner/laptop support

• Strong knowledge of:

• Windows OS (Windows 10/11)

• MS Office Suite & Office 365

• Active Directory & user management

• Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Positive troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Strong communication and customer handling skills
