Role & responsibilities

- Build and maintain an employer database of employers per district for Welding, Fitter and Housekeeping placement covering contractors, fabrication units, maintenance vendors and facility management agencies; maintain active relationships with HR contacts and refresh the database monthly
- Coordinate pre-placement interviews, employer visits to Hub centres, offer letter issuance and joining confirmation tracking; follow up with every employer after each Job Mela until placement status is confirmed or closed
- Organize and execute all Job Melas: functions simultaneously as an SHG market-linkage and institutional-buyer fair); Job Mela 3 (February 2027, both centres simultaneously all remaining graduates); target 30+ employers and institutional buyers across all three events
- Facilitate grounding for all Enterprise Development beneficiaries: organize Udyam registration camps; coordinate bank account opening drives with local BC agents and bank correspondents;
- Liaise with NRLM/SHG federations and block-level government offices, income-generation market linkage connect for Tailoring, Soap Making and Mushroom Grower for SHG graduates to institutional buyers, bulk-order aggregators, mandi networks and online platforms (GeM, ONDC,



local e-commerce)

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate or Post-Graduate in any stream; Social Work, HR, Rural Development or Business Administration preferred. Minimum 3–5 years in placement coordination, job fair management or enterprise-development facilitation. Experience working with both industrial employers and the SHG/NRLM ecosystem is strongly preferred, as the role spans both tracks.
- Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in the rural livelihood and rural-products space — specifically those who understand the value chain of handmade and artisan products (soap, textiles, agri-produce, food processing) from production to market: input sourcing, quality grading, packaging, pricing, buyer identification and last-mile sale.
- Working familiarity with NRLM/SRLM structures, SHG federation hierarchies, MUDRA/bank credit processes and government livelihood scheme will be an advantage. Candidates with prior field experience with ORMAS, OLM, WODC, APICOL, NABARD livelihood projects or any FPO/rural producer company in Odisha or comparable states will be given preference.
