Job Description Performance & Resource Analyst

1. Job Purpose

The Performance & Resource Analyst is a key contributor within the Aviation Planning & Support team, responsible for workforce planning, operational analytics, process automation, and business intelligence. The role involves analyzing complex operational data, optimizing staffing models, supporting airport operations across multiple airlines, and developing automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.

The analyst is expected to collaborate with senior leadership, operations teams, finance, and external stakeholders while leveraging analytical tools and modern automation technologies.

2. Principal Accountabilities

Workforce Planning & Operational Analysis

- Perform staffing and workforce analysis for existing airport stations and new business opportunities (RFPs).
- Analyze flight schedules and operational demand to determine manpower requirements.
- Develop staffing models based on workload, SLAs, operational constraints, and productivity assumptions.
- Support financial planning by providing accurate resource forecasts.
- Perform capacity planning and utilization analysis across multiple business units.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports.
- Perform monthly, weekly, daily, and ad-hoc performance analysis.
- Analyze large datasets to identify operational trends, productivity opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Present analytical findings to senior leadership through reports and presentations.




- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.

Data Analytics & Automation

- Extract, clean, transform, and analyze data using SQL and Excel.
- Develop automated reporting solutions using Python and Power Automate.
- Identify manual processes suitable for automation and implement workflow improvements.
- Support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives where applicable.
- Build scalable analytical solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

Operational Support

- Work closely with airport operations, finance, planning teams, and business stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support during operational disruptions and schedule changes.
- Assist leadership in strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis and optimization.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence.
- Document business processes and recommend process improvements.
- Create business cases supporting strategic investments and operational enhancements.
- Support change management initiatives across operational teams.

Skills & Technical Competencies

Mandatory





- Robust experience in Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, Dashboards).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with GS Planning INFORM Suite (Rostering / Planning modules) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets.
- Experience creating dashboards and management reports.

Preferred

- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms is an advantage.
- Experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA.
- Understanding of airport operations, airline resource planning, and workforce management.
- Exposure to project management and process improvement methodologies.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

Experience

- 6-10 years of experience in Aviation Operations, Resource Planning, Workforce Planning, or Operational Analytics.
- Experience supporting airport operations or airline planning functions.
- Proven experience working with large operational datasets, automation, and performance analytics.
- Experience with GS Planning INFORM applications is essential.
