The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring project safety procedures at the site to ensure a secure and compliant working environment. The role includes conducting toolbox talks, ensuring PPE compliance, performing safety inspections and audits, identifying unsafe conditions, coordinating permits and access requirements, maintaining incident and near-miss records, and monitoring high-risk activities such as lifting, electrical, and height-related work. The position will ensure adherence to client requirements, statutory regulations, and overall project safety standards.

Key Responsibilities -

- Implement and monitor project safety procedures at the site.
- Conduct toolbox talks before each shift to communicate safety instructions and precautions.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE by all employees,



workers, subcontractors, and site visitors.
- Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits to identify risks and non-compliances.
- Identify unsafe conditions, unsafe practices, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate work permits, access permissions, and safety clearances as required.
- Maintain records of incidents, near misses, observations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor high-risk activities, including lifting operations, electrical work, and work at height.
- Ensure compliance with client safety requirements, statutory regulations, and project safety standards.
