Position: Factory Supervisor Location: Kochi, Kerala (Modular Furniture Factory) Industry: Interiors & Civil Works Modular Furniture Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

- Attendance & Workforce Management

- Maintain daily attendance records of factory staff and workers.
- Monitor shift schedules, overtime, and leave management.
- Ensure discipline and punctuality among factory employees.

- Work Supervision & Management

- Oversee day-to-day factory operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assign tasks to workers and monitor progress to meet production deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

- Stock & Inventory Control

- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely replenishment of materials.

- Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly production reports and submit to management.
- Maintain records of stock movement, material usage, and wastage.
- Document factory activities including maintenance schedules and compliance reports.

- Coordination





- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and accounts team for material dispatch and billing.
- Ensure timely delivery of modular furniture to project sites.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for smooth supply chain management.

- Compliance & Safety

- Ensure factory operations comply with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Implement safety measures and conduct regular safety drills.
- Maintain a clean and organized factory setting.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in factory supervision, preferably in furniture/interiors industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and production processes.
- Familiarity with ERP/stock management software is an advantage.
