Job Description: Key Responsibilities: 1. Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, local environmental laws).

- Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and job safety analyses (JSA).

- Maintain regulatory records and ensure timely reporting to authorities (e.g., pollution control board, FDA).

2. EHS Program Development & Execution:

- Develop and implement EHS policies, SOPs, and procedures.

- Oversee safety systems in GMP areas, cleanrooms, labs, and production zones.

- Monitor chemical storage, waste management (hazardous & biomedical), and spill control.

3. Incident Management & Audits:

- Investigate incidents/accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).





- Lead internal and external EHS audits and support regulatory inspections.

- Maintain audit readiness for global regulatory bodies (e.g., USFDA, EMA, CDSCO).

4. Training & Engagement:

- Conduct safety inductions and periodic training for employees and contractors.

- Lead safety committees and drive awareness programs (e.g., fire drills, mock drills).

- Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement initiatives.

5. Environmental Sustainability:

- Monitor and reduce environmental impact through energy efficiency, emission controls, and waste minimization.

- Drive sustainability initiatives in line with corporate ESG goals.
