Job Description: A Hotel HR Officer oversees staff-related procedures, employee relations, recruitment, and labor compliance specific to the hospitality industry. The role ensures a healthy, engaged, and well-trained workforce capable of delivering high-quality guest services, handling everything from seasonal hiring plans to payroll administration. - Recruitment & Onboarding: Design department-specific hiring plans, especially for seasonal needs. Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding. [1, 2, 3]
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary liaison between staff and management. Resolve disputes, manage grievances, and handle disciplinary actions. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Staff Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, handle contracts, and verify right-to-work documents (visas/permits). Manage attendance, leaves, and payroll. [1, 2, 3]
- Training & Development: Organize training programs covering customer service, compliance, and health & safety standards. [1, 2, 3]
- Compensation & Retention:



Implement perks administration and design performance-based retention programs, such as seasonal bonuses. [1, 2, 3]
- Hospitality Logistics: Coordinate staff accommodation, transportation, and catering when necessary. [1, 2]

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in HR or recruitment, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor laws, employment standards, and statutory compliances.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), and a high degree of patience and empathy
