Job Description: As a Mechanical Fitter in a ferro-alloys plant, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of mechanical equipment, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to safety protocols, using tools like welding equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Maintenance and Repair:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in equipment and machinery within the ferro-alloys plant.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.

- Assembly and Installation:

- Assemble and install current equipment or machinery according to blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment and functionality of assembled parts.

- Tool Proficiency:

- Operate and maintain various tools, machinery, and equipment used in mechanical fitting, including welding equipment, drills, grinders,



and hand tools.

- Safety and Regulations:

- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations in the ferro-alloys plant.
- Identify and address potential hazards or safety issues.

- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with other members of the maintenance team and plant operations staff.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and technicians.

- Ferro-alloys Specific Knowledge:

- Understand the processes involved in ferro-alloys production and the specific requirements of the plant equipment.
- Be aware of the properties of ferro-alloys and their potential impact on equipment.
