We are looking for an experienced Customs Operations professional to manage end-to-end customs clearance activities for import and export shipments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in customs documentation, clearance procedures, port/CFS operations, and coordination with customs authorities and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage shipments within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end customs operations for import and export shipments.
- Prepare, receive, verify, and maintain accurate customs documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customs officials, CFS, ports, and external stakeholders.
- Handle customs clearance activities at Custom House, CFS, and Port.
- Coordinate and manage customs examinations, factory/dock stuffing, LEO, and Out-of-Charge (OOC) processes.
- Oversee the assessment and processing of Shipping Bills and Bills of Entry at the Custom House/Port.
- Monitor container movement from gate-in to gate-out and ensure timely completion of clearance activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs procedures and operational requirements.
- Work on weekends when required, based on shipment schedules and operational needs.
- Communicate effectively in English and Hindi to support Delhi-based operations.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely shipment clearance.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
5–8 years of relevant experience in Customs Operations.
- Certification: Valid G Card and H Card are mandatory.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of import/export customs clearance procedures.
- Experience working with Custom House, CFS, and Port operations.
- Good understanding of Shipping Bills, Bills of Entry, LEO, OOC, customs examination, and stuffing processes.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Willingness to work on weekends based on shipment requirements.
