Job Title: PROMIS Developer

Relevant Experience: 5+ years

Must to have skills

- Strong experience in PROMIS-based MES applications and semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lot movement, routing, WIP transactions, equipment integration, shopfloor operations, and MES platforms such as PROMIS, WSC, and WSO.
- A minimum of 3-years experience in configuring an MES system in a production of Semiconductor, Semiconductor backend (advanced packaging or traditional packaging) Battery & Solar environment
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing systems as PROMIS, Factoryworks, FAB300, Work Stream, or SiView or the wafer fabrication or back-end site
- Hands-on expertise in APF RTD and AM, with exposure to manufacturing automation, scheduling/dispatching, and integration between MES and shopfloor systems.
- Extensive application development experience using C++, C#, .NET Core, and MS-SQL, including application maintenance, debugging, enhancement, and support.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL), including complex query development, performance tuning, database design, optimization, data validation, and production issue troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in front-end development using Angular (v17+), ReactJS, and Node.js, with strong knowledge of Components, Services, Modules, RxJS, Observables, State Management (NgRx), AG Grid, Java Script (ES6+), Type Script, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven ability to design and develop responsive, scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications, with a solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles.
- Experience in microservices architecture, API integration, and enterprise system integration across MES, automation, reporting, and upstream/downstream manufacturing applications.
- Solid expertise in Azure Dev Ops and Git, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, branching strategies, pull requests, source control, and version control best practices.
- Experience working with AIX 5.x and OpenVMS (VMS) environments, including application deployment, production support, job/log analysis,



troubleshooting, and coordination with infrastructure teams.
- Strong L2/L3 production support capabilities, including incident management, root cause analysis, hypercare support, release validation, defect resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across backend systems, databases, integrations, and distributed applications, supported by experience with logging, monitoring, and debugging tools.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
- Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, MES workflows, shopfloor execution, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, and Git Hub Copilot for development productivity and collaboration.

Good to have skills

- Exposure to Django (for backend integration or full-stack tasks).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment.
- Experience with performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or industrial automation domains.
- Experience with GenAI tools for code generation, review, or test automation.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).

Experience Required

- 8+ years of experience in C++ development and front-end development.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise projects or manufacturing/industrial domains is a plus.
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and distributed teams (onsite-offshore model) is desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities





- Develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, along with modern Angular-based user interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend developers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through code reviews, unit testing, adherence to coding standards, and software testing activities.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and performance issues across both frontend and backend components.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility to enhance user experience.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, user-centric solutions.
- Provide L3 production support and Hypercare assistance, ensuring application stability and timely issue resolution.
- Support CI/CD processes, deployment activities, and release management.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance technical documentation, while contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
- Engage with customers and business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and refine functional and technical requirements.
- Proactively identify potential risks, system failures, and performance bottlenecks, and implement preventive measures.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment and take ownership or leadership responsibilities when required.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development best practices.
- Experience with legacy programming languages such as COBOL or FORTRAN on OpenVMS/Linux platforms is desirable.
- Prior experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) domain will be a strong advantage.
