- Assist in design evolution of Cockpit components during series production.
- Prepare CAD documentation, Change management documents
- Provide CAD/CAM data exchange support for manufacturability.
- Support geometric variation analysis, gap & flush management, and tolerance studies.
- Monitor warranty returns and customer quality issues.
- Ability to understand the QC concerns and study on the issue resolution.
- Archive quality files and knowledge capitalization dossiers at project milestones.
- Ensure supplier technical files converge with Renault's QCDP milestones, validating readiness at each stage.
- Able to converge cost impacts of engineering changes and modifications.
- Support VA/VE initiatives by documenting cost‑saving proposals & prepare dashboards summarizing realized and potential savings.
- Assist plants engineers in resolving non‑conformities with provisional solution files.
Key Requirements
- Provide CAD design and documentation support for Cockpit during serial life management.
- Contribute to technical convergence, supplier deliverables, and compliance with Renault standards and EU directives.
- Support design evolution, modification management, and supplier coordination throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
- Catia V5 / V6 knowledge, Enovia / 3D Experience is added advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Plastics, decorative parts manufacturing process including injection molding, and assembly feasibility.
- Ergonomics, comfort validation, safety anchorage, and compliance with crash regulations.
- Plastic / Trims parts material selection, Cost for each material type, Design guidelines, DFM & DFA.
