Job Profile: Warehouse & Logistics Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end operations across our 65,000 sq. ft. showroom and 3 warehouse facilities. This is a dual-charge role the person will be equally responsible for warehouse operations (inventory accuracy, storage, stock movement, handling of high-value goods) and logistics operations (dispatch planning, transportation, last-mile delivery, and vendor/customer coordination).

The ideal candidate is someone who can be as comfortable walking the warehouse floor doing a stock audit as they are coordinating a VIP customer's delivery schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations across all 3 warehouses — receiving, storage, organization, and stock movement of furniture and decor items.
- Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout (zoning by category, SKU, size, fragility) to maximize space utilization across all 3 locations.
- Monitor inventory levels across the showroom and all warehouses to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking or stockouts.
- Conduct regular stock audits/cycle counts across locations to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate, real-time records.
- Implement and enforce proper handling, packing, and storage protocols to prevent damage to high-value furniture (padding, crating, humidity/dust control, etc.).
- Manage inward and outward material movement between showroom and warehouses, ensuring accurate documentation (GRNs, stock transfer notes, delivery challans).
- Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are maintained at all times.
- Supervise warehouse staff/helpers,



allocate daily tasks, and ensure productivity targets are met.

1. Transportation & Delivery Coordination:

- Plan and oversee scheduling and dispatching of deliveries from warehouses to customers homes/sites.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and in-house delivery teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of furniture.
- Optimize delivery routes across the region to minimize costs and turnaround time.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are properly maintained, loaded correctly (to prevent damage), and compliant with safety standards.
- Track shipments in real time and proactively flag delays or issues.

1. Customer Interaction:

- Communicate directly with customers to confirm delivery details, timelines, and installation requirements.
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to delivery delays, damages, or scheduling conflicts.
- Provide proactive updates to customers on delivery/order status.
- Act as the single point of contact for VIP/high-value customers, arranging personalized delivery and white-glove installation services.
- Coordinate closely with the sales and customer service teams to align on delivery commitments and customer expectations.

1. Supply Chain & Vendor Relations:

- Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers (domestic and imported) for timely receipt of goods; resolve any logistical or documentation issues.




- Build and maintain solid relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and packing/crating vendors.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics vendors to secure cost-effective, reliable services.
- Coordinate customs/import documentation where applicable for imported furniture lines.

1. Process Improvement & Reporting:

- Analyze warehouse and logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Implement and maintain a tracking/inventory management system across all 3 warehouses and the showroom for real-time visibility.
- Prepare regular MIS reports on inventory levels, stock ageing, delivery TAT (turnaround time), and damage/return rates.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for luxury goods handling, warehousing, and logistics.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse and/or logistics roles, preferably in luxury goods, furniture, or home decor industry.
- Hands-on experience managing multi-location warehouses and coordinating deliveries simultaneously.
- Proficiency in logistics/inventory management software (ERP, WMS, Excel/Google Sheets at minimum).
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle high-value, fragile inventory.
- Working knowledge of local transportation laws, permits, and regulations.
- Willingness to travel between showroom and warehouse locations.

Work Schedule: 6 days a week

Weekly Off: Friday
