About the job

As a School Counselor at VerVida Foundation, you will play a key role in providing guidance and support to students to help them navigate through their academic and personal challenges. Your strong interpersonal skills will be essential in building relationships with students, parents, and teachers to create a positive and supportive environment. Your computer skills will come in handy as you utilise technology to track student progress and provide resources for their development. Your excellent presentation skills will be put to use as you lead workshops and presentations on various topics such as mental health, career planning, and academic success.

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' emotional, social, and academic needs.
2. Develop and implement personalized plans to support students in achieving their goals.
3. Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a cohesive support system for students.
4. Utilize assessment tools to identify students in need of additional support.
5. Lead workshops and presentations on topics related to student well-being and success.
6. Stay up-to-date on best practices in counseling and mental health to provide the highest level of care.
7.



Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions and student progress.
