The Regional Head Bancassurance is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives and responsible for their assigned teams sales productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility for sales, marketing & operations for partner bank branches of the region.
- Maintain healthy relationship with Senior Management in circle / Regional office and ensure support of reportee sales team members at Branch Level.
- Strategize and plan to ensure business delivery through Activity management.
- Built a culture of ethical business and act as a change agent to uncover issues and implement creative solutions to manage risk actively.
- Drive sales basis product mix to ensure profitability.
- Relationship management & regular engagement with channel regional heads, branch managers & leadership teams to support sales growth.
- Leadership, teamwork & people development.




- Ensure consistent business performance with operational effectiveness & control. Managing collection of renewal premiums.
- Adherence to all IRDA regulations and keep pace with changes in the regulatory guidelines/framework for Life Insurance in general and particularly for banc assurance

Technical Competencies / Specializations

- Knowledge and experience in Insurance & Regulatory framework.
- Sufficient Experience and understanding of BFSI and preferably the banc assurance model.
- Proven track record in Marketing & Business Development and thorough understanding of Bancassurance business.

Managing Multi partner channels / stake-holders at an organized level

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Preferably 16-20 years of core business management experience including sales and service.
- Preferably having managed business & channel development in a Bank distribution oriented environment preferably worked in public sector banks.
