Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze existing network operations processes and identify automation opportunities using NSO and BPA workflows.
- Design service models (YANG, templates, workflows) that implement business requirements as NSO services.
- Build and maintain NSO services (service packages, templates, Python/Java callouts) for L2/L3 VPNs, MPLS, CEN and ISP use cases.
- Integrate NSO with BPA/workflow engines, inventory, monitoring via REST/NETCONF/Message bus.
- Design and implement endtoend request workflows: order capture approvals NSO provisioning validation closure.
- Implement lifecycle management (create/modify/delete) and rollback flows, including robust errorhandling and compensation logic.
- Create reusable automation building blocks (tasks, subworkflows, common services) to standardize across domains.
- Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and product teams to define automation requirements, SLAs, and guardrails.
- Define and track KPIs for automation (success rate, timetodeliver, fallouts, manual touchpoints) and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for NSO: packaging, testing, deployment across environments.
- Produce technical and process documentation (HLD/LLD, BPMN flows, runbooks, MOPs, user guides).
- Provide L3 support for NSO/BPA flows, troubleshoot issues in production, and participate in incident/problem management.
- Core JavaScript skills
- Solid JavaScript (ES6+): async/await, promises, callbacks, error handling.
- JSON handling,



data transformation, building payloads for REST APIs.
- Experience calling REST/RESTCONF APIs from JS (fetch/axios, headers, auth tokens, pagination).
- Frontend and UI for BPA
- Web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JS in browser, CORS basics, handling forms and validation.
- SPA frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) for selfservice portals that trigger NSO/BPA flows.
- Building UI components for workflows: request forms, approval screens, status dashboards.
- Workflow / BPA platform skills
- Understanding workflow/BPMN concepts: tasks, events, gateways, timers, compensation.
- Using JavaScript as scripting language inside workflow engines (task listeners, data mapping, decision logic).
- Experience with at least one BPM/BPA tool that allows JS actions (Camunda, SAP Build Process Automation, custom JS engines, or similar).
- Integration and backend JS
- Node.js for lightweight APIs or middleware” between UI and NSO/BPA (Express/Koa, logging, error handling).
- Authentication/authorization patterns: OAuth2, JWT, API keys when calling NSO/ITSM/OSS systems from JS.
- Basic understanding of queues/webhooks for async process callbacks.
- Around NSO / network automation
- Highlevel NSO and network automation concepts so the JS integrates correctly: YANG models, service APIs, typical NSO northbound REST usage.
- Familiarity with IP/MPLS and L2/L3 VPN service parameters so you can design sensible frontend schemas and validations.
