About the Company

Shree Ganesh Roadline is a leading transportation and logistics company specializing in bulk cargo movement across India. We are looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our Kolkata office.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, journals, and cash books.
- Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Assist in GST-related accounting and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and support financial audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

- Excellent knowledge of Tally ERP / TallyPrime.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).




- Valuable understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and banking procedures will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work independently.

Educational Qualification

Essential

- Commerce in Class XI & XII
- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

Preferred

- M.Com
- Candidates residing in Kolkata will be given preference.

Experience

- Minimum 2–5 years of practical experience in accounting.
- Experience in a transport, logistics, or freight company will be preferred.
