About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to strengthen our quality engineering practices and ensure delivery of reliable, high-performance applications.

This role requires strong expertise in Python-based automation using PyTest, UI automation with Selenium & Playwright, API testing, and good exposure to CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python and PyTest.

● Build and maintain Playwright & Selenium-based UI automation frameworks.

● Write efficient UI locators (ID, CSS, XPath) and handle complex/dynamic XPath expressions.

● Develop and execute API automation tests (REST APIs, JSON validation).

● Create and execute manual test cases where required (approx. 40% manual testing).

● Execute regression, smoke, and functional testing cycles.

● Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

● Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile sprint cycles.

● Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

● Contribute to automation framework improvements and quality best practices.

Mandatory Skills

● Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.

● Experience with manual and automation testing.





● Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver & Playwright for UI automation.

● Strong experience with load testing.

● Solid understanding of defect tracking processes.

● Valuable exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

● Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience enhancing or building automation frameworks.

● Working knowledge of testing LLM based applications.

● Basic SQL/database validation experience.

● Exposure to Docker or cloud-based environments.

● Experience working in fast-paced product or startup environments.
