Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java application developer with DevOps expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will work on legacy system modernization and upgrades for a prominent client in the finance domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide legacy system modernization and upgrade for our Java codebase and databases (Oracle/MSSQL).
- SQL Skills, writing queries, optimization of queries, indexing,



purging etc… Hands on Shell scripting experience
- Address security-related requirements such as vulnerability checks, SSL, Log4j, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP.
- Assist in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and load testing exercises.
- Review application and system logs and triage issues.
- Analyze and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Provide application support to external clients and internal users.
- Create and maintain documentation such as runbooks and support procedures.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for existing and new applications.

Skills and Qualifications

- 4+ years of strong experience in Java development, troubleshooting, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of JDK versions 8, 11, and 17.
- Experience with JMS, Kafka systems, and Tomcat applications.
- Basic knowledge of JSP (frontend) and Grafana dashboards.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Good working knowledge of RHEL.
- Familiarity with security protocols and standards.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and load testing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis capability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

Selection Process
