Educational Background should include business development and project management practical courses at UG and ideally at PG level.

Job Description

Lead strategic engagement through alumni with top corporates, PSUs, government agencies, universities, hospitals, and major institutions (Organizations).

Focus on senior management at organizations mostly in India, MNC’s and select ones abroad.

Develop intelligent digital outreach strategies to organizations, to position Amrita University as a compelling partner for alumni-based initiatives.

Continually evaluate ways to enrich existing databases to connect alumni with organizations.

Secure high-level meetings with Director’s and VC office help (MD/CEO level), curate agendas, shortlist suitable alumni participants,



and manage structured follow-ups through CRM systems.

Extensive use of AI search tools and specialty tools.

Convert engagements into actionable collaborations, including research partnerships, and institutional projects.

Selection of areas for cooperation between Amrita and external organizations needs to be done with Director, Alumni’s help.

Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution and measurable outcomes.

Skills Required

Familiarity with LinkedIn necessary.

Sales Navigator

Recruiter highly desirable.

Experience

Between 10 to 20 Years of Total experience out of which 5 years in strategic partnerships.

2 Years of Business Development a plus.

Training and Teaching experience are not counted.

Work Location

Any one of Amrita University Campuses or Remote. Some travel to major cities, such as Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
