Job Title: Travel Audit Manager (Based out of Mumbai)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Travel Audit Manager to oversee and conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits across our hospitality operations in Oman, Bahrain, and Dubai. The role will require frequent international travel to ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, operational standards, and audit requirements. The Candidate should be based out of Mumbai.

The ideal candidate must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA – India) with a strong background in audit, finance, and internal controls. Experience within the hospitality industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Compliance

- Plan and execute internal audits across hotels and corporate operations located in Oman, Bahrain, and Dubai.
- Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
- Review accounting records, financial transactions, expense claims, procurement processes, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Financial & Operational Review

- Analyze financial statements, budgets, expense reports, and operational performance metrics.
- Verify accuracy of accounting records, reconciliations, vendor payments, and financial transactions.
- Identify risks, irregularities, control weaknesses, or potential fraud and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor cost controls and recommend opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Reporting & Management Support

- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, observations, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior management.




- Present audit findings and support management in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely closure of identified issues.
- Generate MIS reports and analytical reviews for management decision-making.

Travel & Coordination

- Travel regularly to company properties and offices across Oman, Bahrain, and Dubai to conduct scheduled and surprise audits.
- Coordinate with General Managers, Finance Teams, Department Heads, and Corporate Management during audit assignments.
- Support special investigations, compliance reviews, and operational assessments as required.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, Finance Audit, Operational Audit, or Hospitality Audit.
- Prior experience conducting audits across multiple locations will be an advantage.
- Hotel or Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, financial analysis, and audit reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Oman, Bahrain, and Dubai.
