Job Summary

The Associate Teacher – Mathematics supports the delivery of high-quality mathematics instruction by assisting lead teachers in planning lessons, conducting classroom activities, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The role aims to strengthen students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills while promoting curiosity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons.
- Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions based on students' learning needs.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
- Evaluate assignments, classwork, quizzes, and tests, and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into mathematics instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, child safeguarding, and academic standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, B.Sc.



(Mathematics), B.Ed. (preferred).
- Master's degree in Mathematics is an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of school mathematics curriculum.

Experience

- 0–3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.

- Ability to explain complex concepts in a straightforward and engaging manner.
