Position: Sales Executive

1. ROLE PURPOSE

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, expanding market coverage, maintaining distributor and retailer relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring proper market execution as per company objectives.

2. REPORTING TO

- Sales Manager / Management

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. SALES TARGET ACHIEVEMENT

- Achieve monthly sales targets assigned by the company
- Ensure continuous growth in sales and market coverage
- Maintain focus on primary and secondary sales

B. MARKET VISITS AND COVERAGE

- Conduct regular market visits within assigned territory
- Visit distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and potential customers
- Ensure product availability in the market
- Identify recent sales opportunities and market potential

C. ORDER COLLECTION AND SALES DEVELOPMENT

- Take orders from distributors and retailers
- Ensure timely order processing and coordination with dispatch team
- Promote company products in the market
- Increase product visibility and market presence

D. DISTRIBUTOR AND RETAILER MANAGEMENT

- Maintain good relationships with distributors and retailers
- Resolve market-related issues and coordinate with management
- Monitor distributor performance and market movement

E. PAYMENT AND COLLECTION FOLLOW-UP

- Follow up for pending payments and collections
- Coordinate with accounts department for outstanding payments
- Ensure proper payment discipline in the market

F. DAILY REPORTING AND COMMUNICATION

- Submit daily sales and market visit reports
- Share order updates, market feedback, and competitor information
- Inform management about market challenges and opportunities

G. MARKET DISCIPLINE AND COMPANY REPRESENTATION

- Maintain professional behavior in the market




- Represent the company positively with customers and distributors
- Follow company pricing and sales policies strictly

H. TARGET PERFORMANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

- Maintain consistent sales performance
- Work towards achieving assigned monthly targets
- Participate in performance review meetings

I. DATA CONFIDENTIALITY

- Maintain confidentiality of customer, distributor, pricing, and company information
- Do not share company business data with any unauthorized person

4. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct market visits as per assigned route
- Meet distributors and retailers regularly
- Collect orders and follow up on payments
- Share daily reporting with management
- Monitor market stock and product movement

5. REQUIRED SKILLS

- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Market handling and relationship-building ability
- Basic reporting and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently in field sales

6. QUALIFICATION

- Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred
- Experience in FMCG or spices sales preferred

7. WORKING CONDITIONS

- Field sales role
- Regular market travel required
- 6 days working

10. DECLARATION

The employee is expected to perform duties responsibly and contribute towards sales growth, market expansion, and business development while maintaining discipline and professionalism.
