Job Overview

The Fleet Operations role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and optimizing the company’s vehicle fleet to ensure smooth operations, timely movement, and compliance. The individual will oversee driver management, vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, routing, and scheduling.
- Monitor vehicle movement through GPS/tracking systems and ensure timely deliveries/visits.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure preventive and regular maintenance of vehicles to reduce downtime.
- Maintain records related to vehicle documents, insurance, servicing, and compliance.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage reports, and optimize usage to reduce operational costs.
- Handle on-road incidents, breakdowns, and ensure timely support and escalation.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety, RTO regulations, and company standards.




- Maintain performance reports of drivers and support their training needs.
- Manage vendor relationships for fleet services, repairs, and rentals.
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and onboarding of current vehicles when required.

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; logistics or operations specialization preferred.
- 2–6 years of experience in fleet operations/logistics/transport coordination.
- Knowledge of GPS tracking systems, vehicle maintenance, and compliance.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and fleet management software (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure, handle emergencies, and multitask effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
