Role Summary
The Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions that enable business intelligence, analytics, AI, and digital transformation. The role bridges business and technology by designing robust data models, integration patterns, and data platforms aligned with enterprise objectives. Exp -8-12 Yrs
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices.
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Architect modern data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses.
Establish data governance, metadata management, and master data management practices.
Design scalable data integration and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Ensure data quality, lineage, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Optimize data storage, performance, partitioning, and query efficiency.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and drive data platform modernization.
Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentoring to delivery teams.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical).
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
Familiarity with big data technologies and streaming architectures.
Understanding of data governance, metadata, data quality, and security frameworks.
Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an Subject Matter Expert
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with recent technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. Ensuring a sufficient pool of skilled professionals in the designated technology, through activities such as conducting interviews, providing training sessions and offering mentorship.
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
6. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions â building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
