Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer with 0–6 months of experience to support quality assurance and quality control activities in a manufacturing workplace. The candidate will assist in inspections, documentation, quality analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while learning industry standards and quality tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges for inspection.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify defects and report non-conformities to the supervisor.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Support customer complaint investigations and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, work instructions, and safety standards.
- Participate in internal audits and quality meetings.




- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments (as assigned).
- Follow 5S and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of quality inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T; is an advantage.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 7 QC Tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
