Senior Merchandiser – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete order execution process from purchase order receipt to final shipment.
- Coordinate closely with the factory to monitor production status and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Prepare and track Time & Action (T&A;) plans for all orders.
- Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of all trims, packaging materials, and accessories required for production.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality trims and materials at competitive prices.
- Monitor material availability and ensure on-time delivery to the factory to avoid production disruptions.
- Coordinate with production, quality, sourcing, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Review and approve samples, trims, packaging, and production requirements before bulk manufacturing.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and provide updates on order status and delivery schedules.
- Resolve production, quality, and supply chain issues proactively to ensure uninterrupted operations.




- Monitor order profitability and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure the 5 R's of Merchandising are consistently achieved: the right product, at the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right price.
- Generate periodic reports on order status, production progress, material planning, and delivery performance.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of merchandising, production planning, sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience in home textiles, towels, bedding, or related manufacturing industries preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
