Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
- Build and enhance automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Maven, or similar tools)
- Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using standard defect tracking tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests (e.g., Jenkins)
- Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of automation solutions

Requirements





- 4–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (TestNG, Maven, or similar)
- Valuable understanding of API testing and relevant tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
- Solid knowledge of functional testing principles and SDLC/STLC processes
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
