We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Developer for a long-term contract opportunity.

Role: ServiceNow ITOM – Event Management Developer
Experience: 5+ Years
Work Mode: Remote

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module.
- Configure event rules, alert rules, correlation rules, thresholds, and alert suppression.
- Reduce alert noise through event filtering, deduplication, correlation, and prioritization.
- Automate incident creation and assignment from alerts and events.
- Integrate ServiceNow Event Management with third-party monitoring tools.
- Work closely with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Server, and ITSM modules.
- Configure dashboards, operational views, notifications, and health-monitoring workflows.
- Troubleshoot event-processing issues, integration failures, duplicate alerts, and incorrect CI mapping.
- Support testing, deployment, production releases, and post-production activities.
- Follow ServiceNow development standards, documentation, and release-management processes.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.
- Event rules, alert rules, correlation, suppression, deduplication, and incident automation.
- Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server.
- Integration experience with monitoring tools using REST, SOAP, APIs, webhooks, SNMP, or connectors.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting knowledge.
- Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Workflows.
- Good understanding of ITSM processes,



especially Incident Management.
- Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and production-support experience.

Preferred Skills

- Experience integrating tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
- ServiceNow ITOM Visibility knowledge.
- Service Mapping and Discovery implementation experience.
- ServiceNow CSA or relevant ITOM certification.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
