Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Admissions Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their learning needs, counseling them on suitable courses, and supporting them throughout the enrollment process. The role requires robust communication, counseling, and sales coordination skills to drive admissions and improve student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents via phone, email, chat, and virtual meetings regarding available courses and programs.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable training programs based on career goals.
- Handle admission inquiries and convert leads into enrollments.
- Follow up with potential students regularly to ensure maximum conversion.
- Explain course structure, fees, schedules, certifications, and career opportunities clearly.
- Maintain accurate lead and student records in CRM/Excel trackers.
- Coordinate with trainers and internal teams regarding batch schedules and student onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market trends and student requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong counseling and persuasion skills
- Sales and lead conversion capability
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong follow-up and negotiation abilities
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and Google Sheets
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Academic Counseling / Educational Sales / Student Admissions
- Experience in EdTech or training institutes is preferred
- Malayalam, English, and Hindi communication is an added advantage
