Job Title : SSA -Production Support

Experience : 3 to 6 Years

Location : Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide production environment support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for enterprise applications.

- Handle L1/L2/L3 production support activities and ensure system availability.

- Manage incident, problem, change, and release management processes.

- Perform production incident troubleshooting and capacity management activities.

- Support deployment, migration, and release implementation activities.

- Coordinate with internal teams, business users, and technical stakeholders for issue resolution.

- Monitor application performance and ensure smooth operations across Production, DR, and NDR environments.

- Prepare MIS reports and operational status updates.

- Perform software testing and validation from an operations perspective.

- Support automation initiatives and improve operational processes and efficiency.

- Utilize monitoring and ticketing tools for incident tracking and management.

- Ensure adherence to operational procedures, compliance, and ITIL processes.

Requisites




- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Robust understanding of production support and application operations.

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, Linux commands, and shell scripting.

- Experience with Oracle queries, SQL concepts, and database operations.

- Familiarity with Java/C technologies and enterprise application environments.

- Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.

- Experience with monitoring and automation tools such as ServiceNow, ITRS, and Control-M.

- Knowledge of application deployment, migration, and maintenance activities.

- Familiarity with ITIL framework and operational support processes.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational tasks.

- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

- Finance domain or BFSI knowledge will be an added advantage.
