Chindalia Industrial Products Limited (CIPL) is looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer with hands-on experience in hydraulic tools and equipment. The ideal candidate should have previously worked with a hydraulic tools manufacturer, distributor, or industrial equipment company and must be confident in visiting industrial plants, understanding customer requirements, and delivering technical product presentations.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of hydraulic tools, their applications, and their usage across industries such as steel plants, power plants, cement plants, refineries, mining, construction, and heavy engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit industrial customers and project sites to identify business opportunities.
- Meet maintenance, production, mechanical, and procurement teams to understand their requirements.
- Deliver technical presentations and live product demonstrations to customers.
- Explain the features, specifications, applications, and benefits of hydraulic tools and equipment.
- Recommend suitable hydraulic solutions based on customer requirements.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Generate new business from industries such as steel, cement, power, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, shipbuilding, and heavy engineering.
- Conduct regular customer visits and submit visit reports.
- Coordinate with the sales support and service teams for smooth order execution.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.

The candidate should understand:

- The working principles of hydraulic systems.
- Selection of the right hydraulic tool for different industrial applications.
- Pressure ratings, capacity selection, safety practices, and operating procedures.
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of experience in selling hydraulic tools or industrial equipment.
- Experience visiting industrial plants and interacting with maintenance, mechanical, and engineering departments.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Confident in conducting technical discussions and product demonstrations.
- Robust customer relationship and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
