Job Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer with robust expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time role based in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development and a good understanding of modern web technologies. If you enjoy building scalable applications and solving technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.

Required Skills





- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel (Mandatory).
- 1+ years of experience in PHP/Laravel development.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and database design.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Bootstrap or similar frontend frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Linux server environments.
- Knowledge of Composer and Laravel best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
