Job Descritpion of Red Hat Open shift Professional

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

- Robust Red Hat Linux OS knowledge.
- In depth knowledge in OpenShift Kubernetes, [OpenShift 4.x, ArgoCD and GitOps experience preferred].
- Scripting skills in Python / Shell Scripting /Power CLI.
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.

Good-to-Have

- Knowledge of application onboarding to OpenShift.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities to deploy OpenShift Container Platform in both public and private cloud.
- Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Perform regular upgrades and patching of OCP environments. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of OCP clusters. Responsible for the complete end-to-end project management, installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, integration, monitoring, patch management, VA/PT closure and troubleshooting.
- Deployment / management experience in setting up OpenShift Container Platform i.e., Configure master and node for one or more clusters.
- Knowledge of application onboarding to OpenShift.



Knowledge on onboarding Nodes in the OpenShift Cluster with various business workloads.
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration. Knowledge, skills, and abilities to deploy OpenShift Container Platform in both public and private cloud.
- Experience in configuring control access to open shift container resources. In depth knowledge in OpenShift Kubernetes, [OpenShift 4.x, ArgoCD and GitOps experience preferred]. Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters. Implement best practices for resource allocation and management. Conduct capacity planning and scaling of OCP environments.
- Implement security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Basic Knowledge on Build automation, CI:CD and DevOps. Robust Red Hat Linux OS knowledge. Scripting skills in Python / Shell Scripting /Power CLI.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration.
