About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and research-oriented Research Faculty for the Department of Water Resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in water studies and chemistry, with an established research profile and a proven record of scholarly publications. The candidate will contribute to advanced research, secure funded projects, mentor research scholars, and strengthen the institution's research ecosystem in water resource management and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct high-quality research in Water Resources, Water Chemistry, and related interdisciplinary areas.

- Publish research papers in reputed SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.

- Develop and submit research proposals to government agencies, research councils, and industry sponsors.

- Guide PhD scholars, postgraduate students, and undergraduate research projects.

- Establish collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, industries, and government agencies.

- Contribute to patent filing, innovation, and technology development related to water quality, treatment, and resource management.

- Support curriculum development by integrating emerging trends and research in water sciences.





- Participate in institutional research initiatives, accreditation activities, and research collaborations.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech – Chemistry (Water Studies)

- M.Tech – Chemistry (Water Studies)

- PhD – Chemistry (Water Studies)

Experience

- Minimum 0–3 years of post-PhD experience in research, academia, or a recognized research organization.

Required Skills

- Strong research and analytical skills in Water Resources and Water Chemistry.

- Expertise in water quality assessment, water treatment technologies, environmental chemistry, hydrology, wastewater management, or related fields.

- Experience in research proposal writing and funded research projects.

- Excellent technical writing, scientific publication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to mentor research scholars and collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in externally funded research projects.

- Patent filing and technology commercialization.

- National and international research collaborations.

- Knowledge of emerging technologies and sustainable practices in water resource management.

Note

The candidate must have a minimum of 15 publications, with a consistent record of research publications throughout their academic career.
