Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead our service team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and experience in handling restaurant floor operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant floor.
- Lead and motivate waiters and stewards during service.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and service quality.
- Train new employees on restaurant SOPs and service standards.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers.
- Ensure accurate order taking and billing.
- Prepare daily shift reports and report operational issues to the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

- Minimum 1–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Steward.
- Experience in a Multi-Cuisine Restaurant is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.




- Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant service standards and POS billing.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hotel Management qualification is an added advantage.
