Market Research Assistant

About the Role

We're expanding our sales presence across two new zones covering ten cities in South and West India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa). We're looking for a detail-oriented Market Research Assistant to build out a comprehensive database of target clubs across these regions — the foundation for our upcoming sales expansion.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys structured data work, doesn't mind cold-calling or emailing to track down the right contacts, and wants to be part of a company's ground-floor expansion effort.

What You'll Do

- Research and compile a complete list of target clubs across Zone-1 (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala) and Zone-2 (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa)
- Identify and capture accurate contact details for each club, including the relevant decision-maker (owner, GM, or manager)
- Verify and cross-check information for accuracy (phone numbers, emails, designations)
- Consolidate all findings into a shared, structured tracker (Excel/Google Sheets or our internal pipeline tool)




- Flag data gaps or inconsistencies and follow up to fill them
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure the data is usable and up to date

What We're Looking For

- Prior experience in market research, data collection, lead generation, or a similar research-heavy role
- Strong internet research skills — comfortable using Google, LinkedIn, directories, and cold outreach (calls/emails) to find information
- High attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English; regional language skills for South/West India are a plus)
- Self-starter who can work independently once given a target list of cities/regions
- Prior experience in the fitness, wellness, or club/hospitality industry is a bonus but not required

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with CRM or pipeline tools
- Experience working on multi-city or multi-region data collection projects

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
