Job Summary

The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Chinese Cuisine is responsible for preparing and presenting authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety. The role assists the Chef de Partie in supervising daily kitchen operations and ensuring efficient food production.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operations of the Chinese kitchen.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with quality, portion, and hygiene standards.
- Supervise and guide Commis chefs in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and minimize food wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate requisitions with the Chef de Partie.
- Assist during buffet, à la carte, and banquet operations.




- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure proper use of kitchen tools and equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.

Qualifications

- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, with at least 1–2 years in a Demi Chef de Partie or similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, soups, stir-frying, steaming, wok cooking, and food presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
