They typically work in bakeries, restaurants, or catering services, where they design, prepare, and decorate desserts to delight the palate and the eye.

Dessert Specialists are primarily responsible for creating and executing dessert menus, with the following duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and implement dessert recipes, which may include cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, and other sweet treats
- Decorate pastries and desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation is beautiful and exciting
- Prepare and cook all types of pastries, desserts, bread etc. according to recipes
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean,



and the equipment is maintained
- Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met
- Collaborate with other culinary team members to ensure the food production runs smoothly
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as sugar, flour, eggs etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
- Ensure adherence to all sanitation and food production codes
- Train and supervise junior staff and interns

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
