ODI App Admin

Experience: 6-10 years

Location: Gurugram

Company: PWC

Technical Skills Required:

- Installation, maintenance, configuration and upgrading of Oracle ODI software and related products.
- Should be able to start and stopping the application’s services
Configuration and Management of ODI Agents
- Monitoring the application’s related products.
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Taking care of the ODI application design and implementation
- Implement and maintain ODI Application security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required




- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
- Should be troubleshooting in case of any problems
Patch Management and Version Control.
- Should be able to perform application tuning and performance monitoring
- Should be able to CLONE DEV/TEST environments from PROD.
- Good Knowledge in OS like Linux/Unix and Windows etc, as ODI software, will be installed on these OS.
- Very valuable understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts
- Capacity planning (should know how large the database currently is and how fast it is growing in order to make predictions about future needs)
- Should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators
- ODI code deployment and restoration process
