Job Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the CBG plant. The role ensures uninterrupted plant operations by maintaining motors, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, DG sets, PLC-based systems, lighting systems, and instrumentation support while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- Maintain HT/LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, and distribution systems.
- Repair electrical faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Carry out routine inspection of electrical installations.

2. Equipment Maintenance

- Maintain electric motors, pumps, agitators, blowers, compressors, conveyors, and mixers.
- Maintain DG sets and electrical auxiliaries.
- Check motor insulation resistance using Megger.
- Replace damaged electrical components as required.

3. Control & Automation

- Monitor PLC panels, HMI systems, and SCADA interfaces.
- Assist in troubleshooting PLC and automation-related faults.
- Maintain VFDs, soft starters, relays, contactors, timers,



and sensors.
- Support instrumentation team whenever required.

4. Preventive Maintenance

- Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per maintenance plan.
- Record maintenance activities in maintenance logbooks.
- Ensure calibration and testing of electrical protection systems.

5. Electrical Safety

- Follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure safe isolation before carrying out maintenance work.
- Maintain proper earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.

6. Documentation

- Maintain electrical maintenance records.
- Record equipment breakdown history.
- Update electrical drawings whenever modifications are made.
- Maintain spare parts consumption records.

7. Utility Management

- Monitor plant power consumption.
- Maintain power factor and capacitor banks.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives.
- Coordinate with electricity distribution authorities during shutdowns.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
