Job Summary:
Responsible for Mold maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of injection molds to ensure smooth production operation,minimum breakdown, and positive product quality.

S.NO Roles and Responsibilities:

1 Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection molds.

2 Attend mold issues during production and resolve technical problems.

3 Carry out mold assembly and disassembly activities.

4 Inspect mold components for wear, damage, and alignment issues.

5 Coordinate mold trials after maintenance or modification.

6 Maintain cooling lines, hot runner systems, ejector systems, sliders, and lifters.

7 Ensure proper cleaning and polishing of mold components.

8 Monitor mold performance and suggest improvement actions.

9 Documentation Maintain historycard, check sheet, breakdown analysis.

10 Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for corrective actions.





11 Ensure proper handling and storage of molds.

12 Hands on experience in lathe, Milling, surface grinding and EDM machine.

Required Skills

13 Knowledge of injection molding process.

14 Experience in hot runner systems and mold troubleshooting.

15 Ability to read mold drawings and technical documents.

16 Knowledge of welding, fitting, polishing, and machining activities.

17 Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems.

18 Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Tool and Die Making (or) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience 3 to 5 years in plastic injection molding .
